MIDDLE-EARTH: – The Lost Tribes
The Lost tribes is an expansion with over 200 cards for the Middle-earth Collectible Card Game. MIDDLE-EARTH: The Lost Tribes (MELT) focus on a hero player.
Woses are often forgotten, there are no many acclaimed warriors among their numbers. The know, however, every single Middle Earth corner and its secrets better than anyone else. This has allowed them to
remain almost invisible to a non trained eye. Woses are firm believers in the spirit magic and the power of nature, and learn since they are born to control it for the good of the tribe.
As a player of The Lost Tribes, you can choose one of the four great Woses available, the Wose-Chiefs, who, although with common goals, lead different tribes each with their own interests and abilities.
Unite the tribes, reclaim the power of spiritual magic, expel the dark power from the sacred forests, and reclaim the land for the free peoples. If you are able to achieve this, the Woses will once again be the race that stood shoulder to shoulder with the great peoples against the forces of the Dark Lord.
Do not expect great warriors, trust in the group!
What is the objective?
There are new events, items, and quests to help you achieve your goals. Each of the avatars also has personal quests. The Free Council is managed normally. Victory is determined in the usual way by comparing the victory points of both players. However, for you, as a Wose-Chief player, it is called “The Day of Revelation” and reflects the point at which the Woses decide that the time has come to reveal their existence and present themselves as a valid power to other races of Middle-earth.
Who are the main characters?
As a player of The Lost Tribes, you can choose one of the four great Woses available, the Wose-Chiefs, who, although with common goals, lead different tribes each with their own interests and abilities.
Ghân-buri-Ghân
As it could not be otherwise, Ghân-buri-Ghân is one of the available avatars.
He is a great diplomat and focuses on the Drúadan Forest area.
Drû-buri-Drû
Drû-buri-Drû is one of the best rangers in Middle-earth. Being a great ranger among the Woses is quite remarkable, and his skills are accordingly impressive. His main area of action is the Stone Circle.
Rhân-bun-Rhân
Rhân-bun-Rhân is a Wose warrior. He harbors a great grudge against Sauron’s creatures for what they did to the Green Forest (now the Black Forest). He mainly operates in the Black Forest area
Mam-ugi-mam
Mam-ugi-mam is the nurturing mother. In her tribe, a matriarchy prevails, which she leads. She is the most focused on “her” creatures among the four leaders. Her place is Cardolan.
Use the help of your wose ancestors, now turned into Pûkel Totems
A Wose-Chief by him/her self is no match for a Wizard or a Ringwraith. But woses have their ancestors by their side, old ancient and powerful woses who are now Pûkel Totems helping each tribe.
Your Wose Havens
Your location deck can include multiple copies of your new Wose havens: Drúadan Forest, Eryn Vorn, The Lost Woods and The Stones
New and powerful Events
Transform your Wose into a powerful Pûkel Statue, move quickly and stealthily through the forests of Middle-earth, or use the powers of nature to lead your tribe to victory.
New Items!
Coloring Stones
Once a Wose tribe member reaches maturity, their body is marked with tattoos and drawings. These are said to have special qualities. Important tribe members who master spiritual magic use the so-called “Coloring Stones” to mark their adult members, and these have great power.
The great Coloring Stone, used before in great events… was lost a long time ago… perhaps it may be found in the deeps of Middle-earth.
Other items
There are many other items that the Woses can use to achieve their goals. Many are minor items, some have magnificent qualities, and there are also some great items with unique qualities.
Watchstones
The Watch Stones are Pûkel statues of great value to the Woses. They are said to be ancient Woses transformed, always for some reason… although it is not always remembered.
They are permanent events that provide bonuses, some of them in the region where they were played and in the adjacent ones.
New Missions:
Each Wose-Chief has a personal goal: to open their tribe to other races of Middle-earth, reclaim the land usurped by evil, etc.
For example, Rhân-bun-Rhân is determined to drive the forces of evil out of the southern Black Forest so that the forest can once again become the great Green Forest. To do this, he will have to achieve a series of preliminary objectives indicated on the cards.
New sites and allies:
In MELT, a new type of site is introduced, the Hidden Site. These act as normal hero sites with the difference that access to them is restricted by conditions that the company moving to them must meet. These conditions are included in the “Special” section of the site card.
…from which new sites in the deeps can be accessed:
It is said that some of the long-lost Ent-wives dwell in these hidden sites…
It is also said that the Woses maintain some ties of friendship with an enemy of the heroes who is about to emerge:
New dangerous enemies!
The Woses face ancient enemies that threaten their way of life, such as the famous Hivesla-Scedu that terrorizes the Woses in their nightmares:
Or strange creatures that inhabit the forest swamps:
All these things and many more surprises can be found in this Fan Made collection.
